About Us
The Adilla Anyanzwa Foundation (AAF) is a registered non-profit, non-political, non-religious and non-partisan organization committed to advancing inclusive education, skills development, digital knowledge access and social transformation.
Founded on the belief that Knowledge should be accessible, practical and empowering, AAF works at the intersection of education, technology and community development to unlock opportunities for children, youth, women and lifelong learners.
We design and implement programmes that respond to real life challenges – bridging gaps between learning and livelihoods, policy and practice, aspiration and access.
Why AAF – Our Difference
AAF does not operate in silos.
We integrate practice, policy, and people — connecting learners, institutions, policymakers, communities, and development partners to create impact that is sustainable, scalable, and enduring.
AAF is both an organization and a legacy platform for knowledge-led transformation.
“AAF was founded from a deep conviction that education must serve life — not just certificates. When people access knowledge, dignity follows, and communities thrive.”

About the Founder
“My journey has taught me that resilience is learned, not inherited — and education is its most powerful teacher. Through AAF, I hope to leave behind pathways, not just programmes.”
Adilla Anyanzwa is the Founder of the Adilla Anyanzwa Foundation (AAF) and a respected leader in education transformation, skills development, and lifelong learning systems in Kenya and across Africa.
With decades of experience spanning technical and vocational education and training (TVET), institutional leadership, digital learning, and education policy engagement, Adilla brings a rare combination of strategic vision, grassroots understanding, and systems-level thinking. Her philosophy centers on equity, access, practical skills, recognition of prior and informal learning, and knowledge as a public good, with a strong belief in inclusive education ecosystems that link communities, institutions, technology, and policy.
Drawing on senior leadership and advisory experience across TVET, higher education, skills development, RPL, digital knowledge systems, and education reform, her work bridges academic learning and real-world skills. The Adilla Anyanzwa Foundation institutionalizes this vision to deliver sustainable, long-term social impact.
AAF was founded as an extension of her lifelong commitment to ensuring that education serves life, livelihoods, and dignity — not just certification.
